Everything you need to know about trading with Funded Hills — from account rules to payouts and beyond.
Our mission, how we work, and what makes us different
Our Mission at Funded Hills (TM) is to give disciplined traders the capital, community, and credibility to trade like professionals — without needing wealth to start.
At Funded Hills, we believe talent should never be limited by capital. Our mission is to empower ambitious traders to break free from mediocrity by giving them real opportunities to prove their skill, earn funding, and live the lifestyle they've always dreamed of.
We combine fairness, transparency, and industry-level realism to simulate true market conditions which tests our Traders' ability to both master their skill but also their psychology. With instant payouts, lightning-fast support, and an active global community, Funded Hills is more than a prop firm — it's a movement for traders who take this game seriously and want to benefit from everything that profitable trading offers.
All trading is conducted in a simulated environment, across all phases. Funded Hills is not a broker and does not accept deposits. Funds are demo capital in the simulated environment.
Successful traders who pass their evaluation gain access to rewards for profitable performance, based on their outcomes of their funded phase accounts which replicate live market conditions.
Funded Hills offers a wide range of tradeable assets including:
Yes, but only accounts of the same account type and rules. For example, one-step challenge accounts cannot be merged with two-step accounts.
Funded Hills have a maximum allocation of $400,000 across all account types. Users are not permitted to have access to greater than this value.
Funded Hills offers one of the most competitive low commissions. Traders will be charged $3 per side on forex, metals and indices on live-funded accounts. All challenge stages are commission-free, creating a perfect environment focused on trader success.
Spreads remain ultra low with raw conditions. Traders can see spreads as low as 0.1 pips on major FX pairs. During volatile periods and market rollover, spreads can be expected to increase in line with natural conditions provided from Liquidity Providers.
US traders are permitted to trade at Funded Hills on OneTrader. US traders are NOT permitted to trade on MT5, in line with Meta Quotes terms and conditions.
1-Step and 2-Step evaluations explained
The 1-Step standard account type is a single phase evaluation required to pass in order to qualify for the funded phase. This phase will assess your trading quality and ability, gathering the necessary data on your trading potential.
Consistency Rule: In the funded phase, your best single trading day and best single trade must not exceed 30% of your total net profit. This is not a hard breach — violations result in proportional deductions at the time of payout review rather than immediate account suspension.
The 2-Step account type is a two phase evaluation required to pass in order to qualify for the funded phase.
Choose your profit split at checkout. Higher splits are available as a purchasable add-on:
Bi-weekly withdrawals are included as standard. An on-demand payout upgrade is available, subject to a 40% profit consistency requirement.
Failure to meet evaluation requirements will result in evaluation failure and rejection of the next phase.
Failure to abide by trading rules in the funded phase will result in a breach of account and disqualification of profits.
Daily Drawdown is based on EOD equity set at 00:00 UTC. Maximum Drawdown is relative equity drawdown trailing to the high watermark. The max drawdown value will be set at $480 less than the highest equity value achieved.
Payouts are limited to a one-time withdrawal with a maximum profit cap of 6%. Funded accounts remain active for 90 days. To qualify, traders must maintain a minimum consistency score of 40% and complete at least three (3) profitable trading days with a minimum gain of 0.5% each.
Hard breaches are account violations which lead to immediate suspension of the account. Once an account is suspended, access will be denied to the account. Any profits in a breached account are forfeited.
Daily Loss Limit: The daily loss is the maximum permitted loss for the account in a day's session. Losing more than the permitted daily loss will lead to a hard breach. The daily loss limit is based on the day's starting balance or equity — the calculation is made from the highest of the two values. Drawdown resets occur at 00:00 UTC.
Maximum Loss Limit: The maximum loss limit is the maximum overall loss permitted on the account. If your balance or equity drops below this value the account will be breached. The maximum loss is a relative value, meaning it trails to the highest balance/equity value achieved through the day.
1-Step accounts: 3% daily loss limit based on the day's starting balance or equity (highest of the two values). The 3% is a fixed value based on 3% of your starting account size.
For example, a $100,000 account has a $3,000 daily loss limit. If the account loses more than this value from the day's starting balance/equity, the account will be closed.
2-Step accounts: 5% daily loss limit. For example, a $100,000 account has a $5,000 daily loss limit.
Drawdown resets occur at 00:00 UTC.
1-Step accounts: The maximum loss is a 6% relative value, meaning it trails to the highest balance/equity value achieved through the day.
For example: A $100,000 account will have a maximum relative loss of $6,000. If your account balance/equity drops by more than this value from its highest watermark, the account will be breached.
2-Step accounts: The maximum loss is a 10% balance/equity value. For example: A $100,000 account will have a maximum loss of $10,000 from the highest end of day balance/equity achieved.
In order to complete your evaluation, traders must successfully reach the minimum profitable trading days of 3 × 0.50%. This requires all traders to make a minimum of 0.50% on 3 separate trading days.
If a trader reaches the profit target of the evaluation before achieving 3 profitable trading days of at least 0.50%, they must continue trading until this value is achieved.
For Funded Hills traders in the funded phase, they must achieve a minimum of 3 profitable trading days with a minimum result of 0.50% to qualify for the transfer request. Transfers would not be available until the minimum requirement is achieved.
All evaluation stages are reviewed within 2 working days, before proceeding to their next stage or funded account.
Once approved, an email confirmation is sent and your new updated stage credentials will be available on both email and within your dashboard.
After your evaluation is deemed successful, all traders must ensure that both KYC and your trader's agreement are complete. Both can be located within the dashboard.
KYC can be completed at any time after registration to the dashboard. We recommend completing this as soon as possible to avoid any delays in future stages. Trader's agreements must be complete to enable trading of your funded phase account.
Steps to Complete KYC:
During the process, you will be asked to submit:
KYC is completed by a 3rd party vendor. If your KYC fails, please contact support for additional assistance.
Please note: we allow only one verified account per trader. Once your KYC is approved for your first account, you will not be able to use any other account under the same identity. Suspicion of any KYC fraud will lead to account termination.
What's permitted, what's not, and how to stay compliant
We strongly advise against external or publicly accessible Expert Advisors (EAs). It is crucial that the parameters of any EA applied to your Funded Hills account are distinct, as our internal monitoring systems could potentially identify the account for replicating trades — constituting a clear violation of our terms and conditions.
Trade styles with a zero-tolerance policy include:
Funded Hills enforces the use of good risk management on all accounts. To mitigate traders' risk, traders are not permitted to stack 5 or more trades on the same pair, in the same direction, with the trades running simultaneously. Reaching 5 stacked trades is a hard breach.
For example, placing 5 EURUSD short positions simultaneously will be a hard breach of trading rules. Up to 4 concurrent trades on the same pair in the same direction are permitted, provided all other risk management rules are followed.
Funded Hills enforces good risk management on all accounts. Traders are not permitted to increase their lot size exposure on subsequent positions while the original position is still open.
For example, if a trader places a 1.00 lot short on EURUSD, any new trade on the same pair in the same direction must not exceed the volume of the original trade if it is still open. If the original trade is closed, a larger lot size may be placed.
Increasing lot size exposure on subsequent trades while the original is still open will result in a breach of the account.
Trading styles deemed too aggressive may lead to suspension and termination of services upon review. While we do not have max risk rules or consistency rules on all account types, trading in an approach which is "make or break" will not be tolerated.
This can be determined by: using excessive margin on trades, going "all-in" on one sole position, using excessive risk and lot sizing with average risk-rewards below 1, or exploiting the volatility of news releases in an unsustainable way.
Gambling includes both the "all-in mentality" and the process of cross-platform, cross-firm and account mirror hedging with the aim of making profits on one account but losing on another. Such trade style includes specific trade behaviours and characteristics which are easily identifiable. Suspicion of such trade activity may lead to warnings, account restrictions, or in the worst case, account termination.
News trading and weekend holding is permitted at Funded Hills. As traders ourselves, we understand the importance of weekend holding and news events.
Traders should be acutely aware of the risk that news trading and weekend holding may present in the form of increased spreads, risk of slippage and unfavourable market fills, as well as the possibility for market gaps to occur from weekend price movements. Such gaps and spreads may lead to trades being filled or stopped beyond their original intention. The responsibility is on the trader to accept this risk and ensure trading is conducted in a safe and secure way.
It is strictly prohibited to set up a copy trader using an account that does not belong to you, whether it's owned by a friend, business partner, or any other individual. We will request verification and proof of account ownership to ensure compliance.
Trades must originate from your own analysis and strategies and must not be reliant on the decisions of other people. This includes signals trading, mass market EAs, account management, and any other format of trade copying from an external source.
Trading IPs and devices used to access the accounts must not match with other traders. Matching IP addresses/devices, along with similar trade approaches, will be investigated for the potential of breaching rules on account management and copy trading. Your IP access and device must be unique to you along with your trades. IPs must not fluctuate through multiple access points and countries during a trading session.
High-frequency trading (HFT) is a strategy characterised by sophisticated computer algorithms and high-speed telecommunication networks to execute excessive trades within milliseconds. This strategy aims to capitalise on minuscule price fluctuations and exploit market inefficiencies.
Trading using HFT is not permitted on any phase of a Funded Hills account. Any attempt to exploit conditions using HFT will result in account suspension and termination of service access.
Accounts will be deactivated on our server if there is no trading activity after 60 days. We encourage traders to make sure that a minimum of 0.01 lots is placed within this period to keep accounts enabled.
If disabled, this will be viewed as a breach of account rules, and the account will no longer be available to the trader.
Trading is suspended during the review process to allow the risk team to conduct their reviews and accurately judge trading performance. Trading will only be enabled once the request is approved.
Upon approval, the trader will receive a confirmation email and have their account balance reset. The trader is then able to continue their trading.
We do not have mandatory stop-loss requirements. We encourage all traders to trade in a safe manner using appropriate risk management and to avoid any form of gambling techniques.
Funded phases of the 2-Step programs include a 3% maximum risk/loss limit per trade. This is not a hard breach — it is a protective auto-close mechanism.
Traders are not permitted to lose more than 3% on a single trade. If a trade reaches 3% in drawdown, the trade will be automatically closed to prevent any further additional loss. The trading account is not breached and traders can continue to trade after this limit is triggered.
It is essential for traders to trade with proper risk management for long-term success.

Minimum withdrawals:
The Funded Hills Wallet includes the option to transfer profits from your trading account to your wallet. These transfers are available on the dates specified on your dashboard. A transfer does not need to occur on the exact date and can be submitted at a later time.
To be eligible for transfer, the trader must complete minimum trading days, reach the end of the trading interval, have all positions and orders closed, and follow all necessary trading rules.
Once a transfer is requested, trading is suspended on the account and the trader will be unable to trade until the transfer is complete. Transfers are aimed to be reviewed within 0–3 working days.
When a transfer is approved, the post profit split amount is allocated to the Funded Hills Wallet. Here the trader can withdraw, or use the wallet value for account purchases.
If a transfer is rejected, it means your account faced deductions during the review from trading rules. In this scenario, the results are removed and the account is reset. A transfer may have partial deductions, in which case the remaining profit will enter the profit split and be allocated to the wallet.
Deductions are final and will not be altered in their decision unless exceptional scenarios of an error during the review, in which any mistake will be corrected.
